Turkey’s 300km protest

Starting in Ankara and aiming to end in Istanbul, a previously minor political figure is making a statement by marching from the official capital city to the largest in the country. He is calling for justice from the Turkish president’s increasingly authoritarian tendencies, and thousands have so far joined him on this 12.5 miles/day march. What happens when they reach Istanbul remains to be seen, but this is definitely the biggest challenge Erdogan has faced for years.
