Climate Change: Anthrax

Anthrax is the stuff of nightmares, probably one of the most well-known biohazards. What is less known is that it can occur in nature, and live for decades under permafrost. Unfortunately, a small town above the Arctic Circle in Russia is at the forefront of this understanding, as record-high summer heats have melted the ice enough to infect and kill some of their village with naturally occurring anthrax. Perhaps another problem climate change could bring?
