Israel and Africa

Israel’s prime minister recently concluded a tour of Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and Ethiopia, the first such visit in decades. While Israel used to have many ties to Africa, in the last few decades those have been waning. With a roster of carefully chosen countries to tour, Netanyahu is looking to make trade deals and shore up support in the UN.
