Eritrea and Ethiopia at war again?

Eritrea and Ethiopia, two countries in the Horn of Africa, fought one of the more intense inter-state wars about 15 years ago. Since then, however, the border has been pretty much frozen, with both countries more focused on dealing with internal problems and attempting to maximize economic growth than on pursuing conflict with their neighbor. Change may be in the air, as recent reports show a flare-up of violence on the still contentious border, perhaps signaling renewed conventional war in an already volatile region. Something to keep an eye on.
