No Intervention in Burundi

A few weeks ago, the African Union floated the idea of sending a peacekeeping mission to Burundi due to the increased instability the country has been dealing with since early 2015. But despite not needing consent from the President of Burundi, his protests against this mission have been sufficient to derail the peacekeeping mission. Violence is continuing, and there doesn’t seem to be a good end in sight for Burundi, or its neighbours.
