Lebanon’s Presidential Politics

So far, it’s been over 18 months since Lebanon had a president, and there have been at least 33 attempts to get a new once since then. The newest twist in this political maze is the news that two bitter rivals, each heading their own Christian Lebanese party since the 1980s, may actually be working together to agree on a president.
